Description

The best raspberry shake you’ll ever have! It is so easy to throw together and totally delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz fresh raspberries
  • 2.5 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Gather your fresh raspberries, vanilla ice cream, and milk. (Make sure your ice cream is just soft enough to scoop, but still very cold!)
  2. Pour the milk into your blender first, then add the ice cream and fresh raspberries on top. This order helps everything blend more smoothly and prevents the ice cream from sticking to the bottom.
  3. Pulse a few times to break up the berries and ice cream, then blend on medium-high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and a beautiful pink color throughout. (This usually takes about 30-45 seconds, depending on your blender.)
  4. Pour into tall glasses and enjoy right away! The milkshake will start to melt quickly, so don’t delay! You can top with a few fresh raspberries or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra special touch.

Notes

  • Use the freshest raspberries you can find. The riper, the better—they make a real difference.
  • Keep the ice cream as cold as possible. Only soften it enough to scoop into the blender.
  • If fresh raspberries aren’t available, frozen raspberries will work too.
