Description
Refreshing, tropical, and easy to make, this mango mojito mocktail blends fresh mango, zesty lime, and mint into the ultimate non-alcoholic drink for sunny days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 0.5 cup Mango, fresh or frozen (see Note 1)
- 2 tablespoons Water (see Note 2)
- 1 Lime, quartered
- 6 Mint leaves
- 1 cup Soda water or a suitable alternative (see Note 3)
- Extra mint and lime wedges, for garnish
Instructions
- Place the lime wedges into a serving glass or small pitcher and muddle well to extract the juice. If a muddler is unavailable, use the back end of a wooden spoon.
- Gently clap the mint leaves between your hands to release the aroma. Add them to the muddled lime and press lightly with the muddler.
- In a small blender, combine the mango and water to create a smooth puree.
- Pour the mango puree into the glass with the lime and mint mixture. Stir gently to combine.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes and top it off with soda water or your preferred sparkling beverage. Stir lightly.
- Garnish with additional mint leaves and a slice of lime before serving.
Notes
- You can use either fresh or frozen mango—just be sure to thaw frozen mango before blending.
- Adjust the amount of water depending on the juiciness of your mango. Two tablespoons is usually enough to achieve a smooth puree, but you might need slightly more or less.
- Soda water can be swapped out for other bubbly drinks like kombucha, which also adds extra nutrients and flavor depth.
